BTC: What to expect for January?

The last weeks I have read some articles which stated that the large dip in BTC is partially due to the ‘Christmas effect’. To test if this is trough I have looked at the prior year charts and noticed something different. The dips did not occur in December, but in January…. So what does this mean for BTC in the short term? See shots below for the 2015, 2016 and 2017 January dip.
