I wasn't sure if that tweet was real or a spoof one but reading the comments leads me to believe its real.
I find lots of similarities between crypto and poker. Not that long ago (and still today) if you told someone you were playing poker online with your real money they would look at you like you are the biggest schmuch on the planet. Today (at peak hours) pokerstars has 10,000 - 20,000 players playing daily and is worth 4.9 Billion dollars.
As for the tweet .... some people are just stuck in the past. There is no stopping technology or the internet.
