50 Cent owns 8 mil USD worth of bitcoin! Wait, what!?
Yes! That's right. The famous rapper owns a bitcoin wallet which sits untouched at 8 mil USD. (Not for long as it seems)
Back in 2014 he accepted bitcoin as a new payment method which he had no ideea about how cryptos work and how big they will become. He took a gamble and BTC was implemented on his website to purchase his newly released album "Animal Ambition", mainly to reach a wider fan base. This move got Curtis Jackson around 650-700 bitcoins which if you do the maths at current price of $11500... thats in the region of 8 million USD. At the time of the album release, bitcoin's price was only $670. To make matters more interesting he completly forgot about them until recently when he saw that the price hit 20k and he started to look for them.
