RE: ACCORDING TO THIS ECONOMIST, THE PROBLEM OF BITCOIN IS ITS FUNDAMENTAL VALUE

in #bitcoin5 years ago

While it may be true that bitcoin's value is hard to determine, it is a far more organic market than the manipulated fiat currency market where trillions of dollars can be printed out of thin air to prop up casino capitalism when it fails, which it did in 2008, and is failing again in 2019. The systemic problems with the legacy economy have never been dealt with. They extend and pretend and now the debt is over $23 trillion dollars. There will only ever be 21 million bitcoin so its scarcity will result in its price being determined by supply and demand. All the FUD that central bankers, IMF heads and Julien Prat mutter against crypto are the same old excuses most of which apply to Fiat cash more so than crypto.
