How to get less fee's on btc for people who invest into altcoins

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

Don't see many people posting or talking about this but one of the easiest ways to avoid bitcoins ridiculous fee's is to just buy ethereum then convert to bitcoin.

For example if you buy from coinbase and send btc it's a lot of fee's so instead what you can do is buy eth when the fee is only like 10 cents to send $200 and lets say you send to bittrex you wait for the eth to confirm then you can trade the eth for bitcoin. You can also do this for pretty much any altcoin. Btc is the only coin with high fee's so your best bet is to buy other coins and then convert them to btc on the exchnages and you will save yourself a lot of $. It was costing me $15 to send $100 and with me buying ethereum instead it only took 10 cents so i saved $14.90 on the fee's.

At some stage you do want to move your btc to a safe place at which time you incur a fee. but still, good thinking.

Every one looking to cash in on bitcoin transaction now, it profit time for every one.
