Bitcoin Still the Most Popular Crypto Coin in the Netherlands

Of all the money that the Dutch invest in cryptocurrencies 43 percent is in bitcoin. In addition owners spread their investment mainly over ethereum (11 percent), ripple (7 percent) and litecoin (5 percent).

This is shown on Tuesday by the so-called Crypto valuta Monitor a market survey of Multiscope among over seven thousand Dutch people.

Dutch citizens who intend to invest in cryptocurrency also go for bitcoin (38 percent). Bitcoin is closely followed by ripple (34 percent) and ethereum (29 percent).

The smaller digital coins, such as neo (13 percent) and stellar (11 percent) are also in the top ten for future investments.

The familiarity of bitcoin in the Netherlands is high. No less than 95 percent of consumers know bitcoin. Holders of cryptocurrencies are mainly men aged eighteen to 34 and generally highly educated.

Owners are working on the coins for an average of 25 minutes per day. They follow the courses, act in it or talk about it with others.
