Smart Containers can lower Medicine Costs

I'm sure I am not the only one that feels healthcare costs just keep going up and up. I am not talking about just the pricey doctor's fees, even medicines are ridiculously pricey. I would think that technology would make medicines cheaper, but for the time being, I have not seen this. Though, a new technology might make medicines a little cheaper by lowering the amount of medicines that perish during their transport. Many drugs, especially the ones that need direct injection, need to be kept in cold temperatures or the active ingredient in them perished. SmartContainers is going to make it possible to watch the temperature of the container drugs are in through out transport.

Cheaper Medicines

Medicines are created in labs or special facilities and there's a lot of staff in those areas to make sure that the conditions needed to stop the medicines from perfishing are always met. When the medicine is shipped out to pharmacies, it's not possible to hire people to watch over the medicine because that's going to be too expensive. Last thing we want is medicines costing more!

SmartContainers has made special containers that are able to maintain cold temperatures better than their competition. This is great and that's the first defense to keep medicines intact. Though, things don't always go as expected so the shipment could have some problem like the medicines being improperly packed, and because of this, the medicine can perish. All those lost medicines make the pharmaceutical lose money so they raise average price of medicines.

SmartContainers is using technology as a second line of defense. SmartContainers is using IoT sensors that would be able to detect that the temperature or the pressure the medicines need to be kept in is not maintained. SmartContainers is using blockchain technology so there won't be a need to have a lot of people just to look at the results the IoT sensors are giving. Instead smart contracts will be created to give a warning to the transport provider in case something goes wrong with any shipment. Also, for problems that require a person to just adjust pressure or temperature, smart contracts could handle that process automatically. With its technology, SmartContainers makes sure less medicines perish and that translates to lower waste costs for companies and that means cheaper medicines.
