Cryptocurrency Prices: Bitcoin Is Approaching $9000

According to the trade portal Coinmarketcap.com, Bitcoin (BTC) has become cheaper by only 0.2% within the last 24 hours, staying in the green zone. The price at the time of writing is $8889.

Cryptocurrencies in the rating are showing a confident increase. Bitcoin Cash is the leader in growth in the top five. The fork of Bitcoin added about 18% over the past 24 hours, and the price of the token doubled over the week. Ripple, on the contrary, went into recession, losing 2%.

Ethereum shows stable growth. Its cost is $633 per coin.

The total market capitalization is $396 billion. Bitcoin accounts for 38% of the total amount. It is $151 billion in monetary terms.
