I feel like he’s underestimating altcoins. Bitcoin is great but it is slowly losing to altcoins and I’m guessing this will hinder it going too high

I feel like $1,000 is too high to be possible in the next few years. $1,000 steem would mean a market cap of roughly three hundred billion. At $10 to $100 we’d have a market cap of roughly three to thirty billion which I think is pretty reasonable and would still leave most of us pretty happy.

Well, technically speaking we can imagine that if bitcoin hits a new ATH, Steem can for a couple of days be at 50-100 usd and then crash. But at the same time the emition ratio, I think it's more probable that SBD hit a double or triple digit at the same time before than Steem.
But hey, we need to keep the things moving, creating, helping in projects, we are a community and we can change a lot of things over here to improve adoption rates.
