There was a lot of articles about Warren Buffet when he mentioned bitcoin recently and they were very negative. And it is true he did not give the coin raving reviews the interview is not as negative as people posted that it was. It was actually even positive in certain parts. He called it ingenious twice (that is a strong word) and said he doesn't know where he will be on it next year. And he also admits it is not his specialty.

According to one of his statements "buying bitcoin ain't an investment".
Warren is good and his comfort zone is traditional investing into companies. That is the skill he has learned his whole life and this is why he believes it is still better because it is familiar territory for him. I don't blame him because he has a lot of money and he doesn't need to put it all in high risk investments such as bitcoin.
For him it is better to continue to do what he knows the best because that is what he is doing for a long time and has experience in.
He has missed a few great investments during his time. I'm wondering if he is investing in blockchain technologies in general. Thank you @whatageek.
No person is perfect, surely he is not perfect. Nobody can do all the things the best way and time them, we as humans make mistakes - it happens.
I say that whales should put funds together and win the bid of the annual charity lunch with him and give the pitch! That would be an interesting event!
