My First Bitcoin Ever in 2015 - A Story of HODL BTC
Bought my first Bitcoin Ever on 26th June 2015. BTC price on that day was around ~220$ if my memory serves me well. How times have changed! Imagined still having them at ATH $20,000 in 2017. Well of course if I could predict the future, I would've bought lottery, traded gold in 2009, bought Apple, Amazon, Facebook stocks in 2011 LOLOL etc
(Still having some dust left!)
To be honest, the only reason I bought some BTC back then was out of curiosity with crypto and also to try my luck on satoshidice, primedice, just-dice etc. I read countless posts on btctalk just about gambling and martingale (all the way to bankruptcy lol). No ICO craze, no crazy media coverage and faucets still were around back then.
So, after gambling away my btc in a few months by trying all sort of crazy systems, I lost almost all of it. Nevertheless, I still have some BTC left which I thought amounts to nothing. And then 2017 came, BTC raised back from the death! How exciting, and I still have the private keys yay. Logging in my electrum wallet again after 2 years and wow, my very little BTC dust back in 2015 is now almost ~x60! Still, it's nothing but it's fun and unpredictable.
So, the lesson leared here is... "HODL"!
