@mikenice, Be it Poloniex or Bittrex, I have read a lot of articles just like yours where people are continuously complaining about these service providers. These are the some very negative points about Steemit. If they don't fix this issue, there must be some strong competitor that will solve this issue by making the payment system streamlined. Just my humble opinion. Keep updating and keep posting! Upvoted.
