Investors Say US Debt Will End Up in a Bitcoin and Crypto Boom

Several prominent figures have recently predicted that US debt could create a big spike in the cryptocurrency world. Erik Voorhees, a prominent cryptocurrency expert said that if there is a new financial crisis, the world would realize that the US debt cannot be paid back and instead they would print more fiat money, which would lead to inflation. Besides, Nouriel Roubini, who is well known for predicting the 2008 financial crisis, also held the view that there is a possibility to experience a new crisis in 2020. They reportedly both think that gold and virtual currencies could be the best store of value if the crisis hits.
