Project purpose:
World’s First Global & Decentralized Car History Registry Built on Blockchain

carVertical, based in Lithuania, has the vision to be the world's first global & decentralized car history registry built on blockchain technology. carVertial will try to gather as much information as possible about a car's history and then "save" it on the blockchain for everyone to see.

The type of information gathered will include:

• The accuracy of odometer readings
• Information about prior damage (as a result of various accidents)
• Maintenance records
• The number of previous owners
• The legal status of a vehicle (e.g. stolen)
• Possible ownership restrictions (e.g. liens)
• Archive photos

The project will attempt to solve a huge problem: Expose the truth about the car's history for buyers and used car owners.

Okay, let's just stop there for a second. We have the Co-Founder, Audrius Kučinskas, talking about carVertical. If you have ever watched a cryptocurrency introduction video then you should know that the use of proper english is professional. Using "pissed off" in the intro which is supposed to promote your project is a complete turndown for potential investors. Personally I can't take this dude for full. I get that you guys are a young and hip project team, but you guys have investors who are just not into all that.

Nevertheless, the rest of the video explained basically what purpose carVertical has and the presentation of the project was solid.

Project team:
As of right now, carVertical consists of 14 team members who each have an individual and specific job to do in the project.

After checking the legitimate state of their profiles via LinkedIn, i can truly say that they all have experience in their jobs.

Products:
carVertical has 5 products, some of them already released and some aren't.

carVertical.Wallet -  The mobile gateway to virtually manage your car’s registration and maintenance records, perform insurance or technical inspection tasks.

carVertical.Reports -  Paid report service where customer gets unified, easy to read report, that includes full car history and specific information about that particular vehicle with additional information based on machine learning conclusions.

carVertical.Whitelabel  -  Paid franchise model solution for everyone who wants to run local B2C car VIN check and reporting business. For a white label buyer for a monthly fee we will provide: website templates, automatic reporting creation system, CMS (content management system), CRM system (customer relationship management), API, payment processing.

carVertical.API -  Paid franchise model solution for everyone who wants to run local B2C car VIN check and reporting business. For a white label buyer for a monthly fee we will provide: website templates, automatic reporting creation system, CMS (content management system), CRM system (customer relationship management), API, payment processing.

carVertical.Database -  carVertical blockchain registry with trusted car history which can be accessed by anyone for free. The ability to add information blocks is granted only to trusted entities.

Currently only the carVertical.Reports and carVertical.Database are live.

Partnerships:
Autoplius.It - Autoplius is the most popular portal of automotive classifieds in the Baltics: more than 8,800,000 unique visitors every month, more than 195 thousand ads. In June 2018, Autoplius will become the first ever customer for carVertical’s white label solution.

Diginet - Diginet is the owner of Autoplius and the largest group of classifieds in the Baltics. The portfolio of Diginet also includes aruodas.lt, skelbiu.lt, cvbankas.lt and other portals, usually the most popular in their category.

Baltic Motor Trade - Baltic Motor Trade (BMT) is the used car dealer, providing carVertical with trade insights, updates on various trade practices, as well as historical data of used vehicles. BMT specializes in vehicles from Germany and US.

GPSWOX - GPSWOX is the provider of global GPS tracking solutions. carVertical has signed a partnership deal with the company to further advance in the development of IoT. The parties are working on IoT device which would be cheap, private and secure.

Legator - Legator is the insurance brokerage company from Lithuania. With over 20 years of activity, Legator is a valuable partner in terms of data sources and car insurance-related insights.

Tanagra - Tanagra is Lithuania’s largest chain of automotive workshops and spare parts’ stores. It was established in 1993 and since then is known for having the distribution rights to Sandler, Alpinestar, KW automotive and other brands. Tanagra will participate in data exchange with carVertical.

AutoWin.EU - AutoWin.EU is an online store of new OEM parts. carVertical will benefit from Autowin’s knowledge of VIN decoding and assignment of options to particular vehicle.

MITA - MITA is Lithuania’s agency for Science, Innovation and Technology. It is the main governmental institution, responsible for implementation of innovation policy in Lithuania. Briefly, it is a national innovation agency. And it will provide incubation services to carVertical.

There has been a little shitstorm about the non-existing partnership with the BMW Group.
