The future of the crypto industry lies not in attempts to hide from regulators

“Blockchain Island” on Malta, “Crypto Valley” in Switzerland, and “Crypto Beach” in South Korea... What do these locations have in common? The fact that, in their search for a “safe harbor,” blockchain market participants are starting to create something like reservations for work with digital currencies, where special rules for doing business are applied. Some breaking news, again from South Korea: the governor of the Jeju Self-Governing Province on Jeju Island has suggested that the national government create a free zone for ICOs there. As good as any offshore, isn’t it? The fact that such places are appearing is a good thing, as it gives cryptocurrency market participants a place to go. On the other hand, how much longer is this game of cat and mouse going to go on? The future of the crypto industry lies not in attempts to hide from regulators on beaches, desert islands, or other planets, but in cooperation. Ideally, this would be the result of meeting halfway, as everyone would benefit.https://www.coindesk.com/koreas-jeju-island-seeks-to-become-an-ico-free-zone-despite-domestic-ban/
