What percentage of participants will be new projects?
Previously, it was indicated that 58% of executives of level C and 27% of venture capitalists and investors will be attending this conference. Today we continue to share more percentages of the remaining participants.
- 16% of the ICOs, STOs, and blockchain startups will be attending: anyone who stays informed on the latest blockchain news, will be aware of the differences between ICOs and STOs, but anyway I think it is best to a quick clarification.
ICOs (Initial coin offering) is when a new blockchain project raises funds through the sale of its own token and following few or even no financial regulations. STOs (security token offering) is quite similar, with the big difference that these cases are regulated, and being scammed by the project that is raising funds with STOs is much more difficult. In a nutshell, STOs are like ICOs but following certain regulations to protect investors from scammers.
Having 16% of blockchain projects in its early phase provides a valuable opportunity for people to invest in projects with the potential to enjoy amazing returns in the future. As we already know, there have been people who have received incredibly high returns on their investment because they had the good sense to put their money in projects that would end up succeeding, and naturally, there will always be new investors looking for similar results.
The good thing that the World Crypto Conference allows the projects to show a demo of what they are developing, this can make the work easier for the venture capitalists when it comes to evaluating which projects have more potential, and decide where it is worthwhile to invest their available capital.
