MIXIN NETWORK - THE NEXT GENERATION TRANSACTION NETWORK

Mixin network is a free and lightning fast peer-to-peer transactional network for digital assets. It distributed a cross-chain solution with built-in smart contract that facilitates instantly and secure cryptocurrency and crypto asset transfer.
Recently, the project took another big step and launched its testnet. The project is developing on a global scale.

INTRODUCTION
As much as blockchain technology has given people power to monitor and manage their asset, it has become widely adopted. Bitcoin being the first cryptocurrency to emerge gave users so much hope because it was faster than traditional payment system. But as time goes on, cryptocurrency market had a significant growth due to increased adoption, the number of network participants grow, thus the number of transactions waiting for validation increases too. This led to high transaction fee, slow confirmation time and insufficient transaction capacity.

Instead of fixing these flaws, new projects are being invented because of the inflexible highly distributed nature of bitcoin, the likes of Ethereum, Stellar, Cardano were invented. With their new features, they are still not able to remedy the situation.

MIXIN DAPP
Mixin has its own social DApp (MIXIN Messenger) and decentralized exchange (OceanONE), that supports cryptocurrencies. Mixin Messenger is a decentralized app where messages can be sent to a number added via phone contact or by Mixin ID. This app also feature a full cryptocurrency wallet, which support almost cyptocurrencies on the 9 main chains. The app can be downloaded on Google Play.

Mixin messenger uses a six-digit wallet pin and does not require private key that can get lost, hence users do not need to cram or keep their alphanumeric private keys as opposed to other blockchain apps. The information inside the Mixin Messenger is encrypted messages, and even your entire node cannot read your messages. When a node pushes a message and the other party reads it, it will permanently delete the message.
