aspekti Cooperates with Oracle-D to Develop Blockchain Technology in Indonesia
Yesterday, November 1, 2018 a new history in the world of information technology has been made. The Association of Telematics Companies and Consultants (@aspekti) holds a seminar on blockchain by collaborating with a blockchain-based company @ oracle-d. In the seminar, @anarcotech and @starkerz were summoned to explain to the audience what and how this blockchain technology can be applied in Indonesia.
This is one of the many series of activities of the @ oracle-d team in Indonesia. After previously sharing their knowledge with fellow students in Lhokseumawe, Padang and Bandung, yesterday they presented about the potential for blockchain development in front of entrepreneurs. Director of quality assurance Kemenristekdikti Prof. Aris Junaidi, who was present on behalf of the Menristekdikti Muhammad Nasir, in his speech said that Indonesia must move quickly. Because the development of technology that cannot be dammed right now will roll up anyone who is unable to adjust.
Therefore in the future @aspekti will try to provide education to both students, professionals and the general public about this technology. The education program is supported by @ oracle-d as a partner of @aspekti in terms of developing blockchain technology in Indonesia. That means there will be a lot of programs related to business, education to social activities that will be built. And luckily we as steem, most of the programs will run on the blockchain steem platform.
Why at the beginning of my writing did I say that this is a new history in Indonesia? That's because so far the government seems to 'reject' the presence of this technology. Although I admit that public knowledge about the blockchain is currently limited to cryptocurrency trading activities and initial coin offering (ICO). I can also catch the impression of 'rejecting' the story of the argument of one of the central bank representatives who came to the blockchain seminar in Lhokseumawe.
What @aspekti did was certainly a big breakthrough. From several discussions with the Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta Aspecti, Nasfi Burhan, I captured a noble desire that underlies the implementation of the education program. This is about how to prepare the young generation to be able to bring this nation to stand in line with other nations in the world. "We, especially me, are old, old. You guys will continue everything. So understanding this blockchain technology is not for us, but for your generation. We are only preparing the ground for you to take off," said the man who claimed to have first set foot in Jakarta in 1967.
The dissemination of information about blockchain technology is indeed not the first time in Indonesia. Previously, there were a lot of parties, especially the steemers who tried to educate the public to get to know the blockchain. But what @aspekti does by holding @ oracle-d is something extraordinary. Because the first time in Indonesia education about blockchain technology is planned and has clear objectives. I really hope that one day this technology will develop rapidly in Indonesia. Hopefully!
