Remember cryptokitties? Mega Crypto Polis gives the community of players a chance to build a massive megapolis city right there on the Ethereum blockchain. The reserving of land blocks for future real-estate developers on Mega Crypto Polis starts in 5 days, on May 21st and as the game launches in August, land owners can erect residential or office buildings, industrial factories etc.
Every block of land is an ERC-721 token and will generate influence points for the owner as the real estate on and adjacent to the block define it's value.
The initial cost of land blocks is low - starting from 0.015 ETH per block and will rise as neighboring blocks are sold. Some blocks of land even contain valuable natural resources, which increase the value of the land by giving you more influence points. And influence points are needed to get a share of the daily distributed rewards from the tax pool. Every action in the game demands taxes, like in real life and as they get paid out daily, players can decide whether to keep buying more land to help advance the great mega city or withdraw and suss out.
