Just a reminder to read the Karma P2P lending plattform whitepaper. It's available in English now and my the executive summary would be:

Karma provides infrastruture to connect projects and investors in a way where everything that can be traded on a blockchain can be used as collateral for the loan. This includes future products to be used as collateral for loans needed to produce the underlying goods. Karma establishes trust between participants of a deal by outsourcing the establishment of trust to algorithms of third parties that are rewarded according to their performance. The plattform itself is a non-profit dApp to the benefit of all participants in the ecosystem, run by a legal entity located in the Netherlands under European law.

As a side product to facilitate the core purpose, the project introduces options and futures trading to the blockchain.

The second funding round starts in November. You have to get whitelisted to be able to paticipate.
