How to lockup HER tokens through MEW
Principles:
After many request from our community, we’ve made a tutorial to participate in the incentive program through MEW. Within this interface, users can easily participate in the incentive program. Make sure you participate within the given timeframe. Deadline: 31–07–2018, 23:59:59 UTC +8.
Below we have provided a detailed breakdown of the steps to follow in the process to lockup your HER tokens. If you are experienced in Ethereum development, you don’t have to be limited to this tutorial.
Specific steps:
1.Environment preparation
All the operations are completed at https://www.myetherwallet.com/#contracts.
- Authorize the HER smart contract to lockup your HER token
The contract cannot deduct your HER token automatically without your permission, so this step requires your authorization.
Go to https://www.myetherwallet.com/#contracts. Copy and paste HER’s contract address: 0x491c9a23db85623eed455a8efdd6aba9b911c5df into the “Contract Address” text box.
Copy the HER Contract ABI* and paste it into the text box in ABI/JSON Interface:
Click the Access button.
In the following Read / Write Contract part, select the ‘’approve’’ method.
In ‘’spender address’’, paste the HER smart contract address:

The parameter _value is the total number of HERs you would like to lockup plus eighteen 0s at the end of it. Now suppose you participated in the incentives plan with 13000 HER then the value you fill in is 13000 * 10 ^ 18 = 13000000000000000000000. So before you finally write it in, please make sure that you have replaced the “21,000” with the amount of HER in you would like to lockup and have added eighteen 0s at the end of it.
Access your wallet by your own choice.
Click the Write button at the bottom.
In the pop-up “Warning! “dialogue box, set the “amount” to 0, keep “gas limit” the default value, and click “submit”.
Check the transaction status and make sure the invoking will be processed correctly.
- Start depositing HER
If you have finished Step 2, you can now call the contract to lock the HER tokens.
- Similar to Step 2.1, go to https://www.myetherwallet.com/#contracts, in the “Contract Address“ box put in HER smart contract address:

Copy the HER Contract ABI* and paste it into the text box in the ABI / JSON Interface:
Click the Access button.
In the following “Read / Write Contract” part, select ‘’deposit’’ method.
In “Value”, enter the amount you authorized in step 2. Please be consistent, such as 13,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.
Access your wallet.
Click the Write button at the bottom.
In the pop-up “Warning! “dialogue box, set the “amount” to 0, keep “gas limit” the default value, and click “submit”.
Check the transaction status and make sure the invoking will be processed correctly.
If you have completed all the steps above, your HER will be transferred out, and be locked in the smart contract.
