San Francisco-based Okta, an American identity management company, has released a new study focusing on new trends in technology development and business opportunities for the world's largest companies. According to his report, the number of digital companies joining the Blockchain has exploded in recent months.

The majority of large digital companies are involved in the Blockchain

Okta surveyed 1,050 IT, security and engineering decision-makers with a turnover of at least $ 1 billion.

The survey aims to determine the involvement of companies in emerging technologies.

After collecting the survey responses in January and February 2019, the company released its first report.

It revealed that 61% of the world's largest digital companies are making an investment in blockchain technology, which is considered a buoyant market.

Blockchain technology is not yet leader

This study also revealed a variation in the percentages of investments affected by large firms in different technologies.

According to the report, the vast majority of companies, 72% of those surveyed, engage in the Internet of Things (IoT), while 68% are involved in artificial intelligence (AI), followed closely by the Blockchain.

Finally, 58% said they invested in augmented reality technology.

In total, 90% of the 1,050 decision-makers stated that their companies were working on a formal digital transformation and investing in "at least" one of the aforementioned technologies.
