AUTHOREON Protecting Authenticity & Trust

Online security is not at its best at this time and era considering the fact that almost every other person has access to the internet and more so, the know-how. Cyber attacks, password breaches, document frauds, and identity theft are on the rise with the most common being identity theft. I can recall one too many occasions when someone I know or I interact with on social media platforms has had their accounts hacked. With such cases on the rise, it's imperative that every person feels secure while carrying out various attacks on the internet.

Today I would like to introduce you to Authoreon. Founded in March 2017, Authoreon’s main goal is decentralizing Authorization, Authentication, Verification and Certification for consumers, organizations, corporations, and governments. It enables a comprehensive self-managed identity and overall trace-ability of products through the supply, retail, and ownership chain with its primary aim being the prevention of fraud,cyber-attacks, material and immaterial identity theft as well as counterfeits. Getting rid of central control over authentication and authorization makes the user feel and actually be in charge of their identity and personal data without relying on a third-party gatekeeper. Authoreon is better than the other mechanisms in that it provides a network effect.

THIS IS HOW AUTHOREON WORKS.

Authoreon is based on Ethereum, an innovative, public, open-source and censorship-resistant blockchain protocol and distributed computing platform that offers a decentralized Turing-complete virtual machine allowing execution of smart contracts. Utilizing public-key cryptography, a blockchain enables each participant to have secure interactions with the digital ledger without the need for a central authority. On a blockchain, whenever a participant wants to add a transaction or asset, all the other participants in that particular network run an evaluation algorithm to verify the transaction. If the majority of the nodes agree on the validity of the transaction or asset, its authorized and written on the blockchain.

Other than the blockchain, Authoreon has developed the synapse protocol which is designed to further the scalability, functionality, and performance of the platform by enabling smart authorization contracts. The synapse protocol generates temporary access for instances that are authorized and as well keeps the blockchain light and fast by substituting the data stored on the blockchain resulting in swiftness and increased performance of the blockchain.
Authoreon has also developed the 2 squared key-algorithm, providing one static key with a temporary dynamic key only if the other key is still valid by authorization and vice-versa, limiting access to only two dynamic keys. This mechanism on the Authoreon platform takes the place of the traditional two-factor authentication and as a result, increasing the range of potential applications.

Authoreon has also developed the A-ID, a universal code that can be updated at any given time for instance if a product is passed on in the ownership chain. In addition, the platform has introduced master and subsidiary code relations where for example a particular supply chain has a master code while each stakeholder owns a separate code.

AUN TOKEN.

Authoreon has a native AUN token at the core of their solution that runs and powers the Authoreon ecosystem. This token gradually transitions from a utility token to a security token providing more value to all the involved stakeholders.

The current online safety measures are far from being enough since apart from the problems I have mentioned above, we also face increased national security concerns, usually in conflict with data protection regulations and also problems in IoT security, copyright, and intellectual property protection among others.
