Litecoin to Integrate MimbleWimble
The Litecoin Foundation has approached Beam about possible cooperation to implement Mimblewimble via Extension Blocks on Litecoin.
Today announcement came saying the two teams will work together on this.
We have started exploration towards adding privacy and fungibility to Litecoin by allowing on-chain conversion of regular LTC into a Mimblewimble variant of LTC and vice versa. Upon such conversion, it will be possible to transact with Mimblewimble LTC in complete confidentiality.
It is our joint intention to publish any and all the work done as part of the project under a permissive open source license to let the community benefit from it.

I had no idea. I read through the GRIN's GH repo, and was very impressed at it's simplicity. I'm not someone who knows how to code, but I am rather good at math. Reading some of the rules for the algo itself even made sense to me!!
Dam I thought they were going to just soft fork CT into Litecoin as it was safest and easiet method and(one of the main tech of Mimblewimble)...
but actually using extension blocks(a method proposed by Blockstream) to soft fork Mimblewimble will be amazing and could finally bring privacy to UTXO chains.
Too bad it ain't coming here anytime soon

At least LTC is trying to do something useful... meanwhile the only thing growing in BTC is the number of stupid forks...crypto tech still has a long way to go, thank god development continues even during the bear market...
