Getting Started 

In this tutorial, you'll learn how to manually send a transaction during the Pre-Sale using Eidoo.

Step 1: Download the Eidoo app and create an Ethereum wallet

When you download the app for the first time, you will be asked to follow a wizard with basic information related to the Eidoo wallet. Please read all the info carefully.

Then, a new page will appear.

Click on “Create a new Wallet” to create a new address. Terms and Conditions will be shown for you to read. Please, read them carefully and then click on the grey button “I agree, go next”.

This new page will appear.

Here you need to set a password to control the access to your wallet. You must remember it because you won't be able to reset or recover it.

After entering your password, you have to backup your wallet. This backup phrase will protect your funds and can be used to restore your digital currencies and tokens if your device is lost or damaged , or if you forget the password.

To make this backup, you will only need to write down on paper a 12-word set and store it in a safe place.

We suggest to store it in a safe place, and to not keep this backup phrase on your device.

A list of 12 words will appear in the language of your phone, and then you will be asked to write them in the right order for the “Verification Time” to complete the backup process. Once you successfully end the process, the following message will appear on your device.

Step 2: Log in on the Eidoo app and select your Ethereum wallet

Click on the Ethereum symbol to open your wallet.

Step 3: The transaction

After you have opened your wallet, you need to click on “Transfer”.

You will then need to write the address you will see on the Skillchain Website, in the “Address” field. After filling the address, you will need to pick the ETH amount you want to send. Please note that the min contribution is 1 ETH.

After filling the two fields, you will need to click on “Advanced”.

After clicking on advance, you will need to set the “gas limit” to at least 250,000 and we strongly suggest to set the “high priority”.

You are all set, you just need to click the send button and the transaction will be registered. You will see the SKI Tokens in the EIDOO wallet.
