Digitex is going to become the first exchange of its kind as it is going to be the first exchange on blockchain to provide commission free Futures Exchange.
Digitex exchange is free from transaction fees.
After hearing that it will not be charging any of the transaction fees everyone would be wondering that how would the exchange manage for the operational cost ? How will it pay for its maintenance and all the other expenses which an exchange go through in order to run it. So answer to all these questions is that inspite of charging fees they are going to issue a new currency which will be DGTX which they will use to meet all the expenses.
For this users and holders of DGTX will decide how many new DGTX are issued to cover the operational expenses.

About the existing Exchanges!
At present the traders have to pay fees regarding the trade of futures contract. As the fees are associated with the trade so some time even a trader might face loss or even come to a break even point despite of making profit.
As it is clear from the comparison that if the same trade would have been excuted on both Digitex Futures Exchange and on Bitmex then Digitex would have made 400% more profit then Bitmex and if same trade would have been excuted on kraken then the trader would have faced loss. So due to no fees it makes it completely profitable for the traders.

Trading fees plays a major role as the traders have to take more risk just to recover the fees as well as to make some profit but as there will be zero fees so the traders will be abel to trade with low risk as well as with low margins which will make even a small trade more profitable.
