DAV Network SWOT Analysis

DAV Network is a decentralized transportation platform that seeks to revolutionize the transportation industry. It is the future of the transportation industry on the Blockchain.

I will be conducting a SWOT analysis to evaluate the factors that may make or break the development DAV Network as a whole.

Strength

The strength of this project is evident in the purpose of it creation. DAV Network is created to provide a new dimension in the transportation industry. Unlike other project that seeks to compete with the giants in their industry, DAV Network seeks to provide them a haven for more adoption and a new customer base. Autonomous Vehicles are gaining more attentions as people are amaze by the technology, but a mass adoption of this technology is still limited. DAV Network is offering an opportunity for the mass adoption of this technology. Even if average individuals do not have the financial ability to purchase this technology, they can still enjoy the benefit of it through the DAV platform.

The diversity in the use of DAV network is another strength that cannot be overlooked. The services offered by DAV are applicable in every industry, ranging from businesses renting drones to provide their customers with better delivery services, insurance companies providing insurance policies to earn DAV, individuals that provide maintenance/repair services to earn DAV, to the owners of AV that earn DAV by renting it out to earn DAV. This means a mass adoption for the DAV and AV.

Another of DAV strength is that, DAV network has established partnerships with several autonomous vehicles industries. This shows how committed the team is to making this project a success strength

Weakness

The existence of AV is still relatively new to the world, and whether it will go mainstream is still uncertain (though the chances of success are very high), especially in developing countries where their technological advancement level is still low, which will have an adverse effect of the maintenance of AV. The services of DAV Network are impossible without AV, i.e. DAV success is heavy dependent on the success of mainstream. This is a weakness for this project has it success is determined by an external factor.

The team of DAV is extremely capable of working hand in hand with the AV developers to bring success to both projects.

Opportunity

The transportation industry is an industry that has stood the test of time and has revolved from one age to another. It is very wide and it worth billions of dollars worldwide.

DAV Network is seeking to enhance the future of this industry by providing a haven for the mass adoption of Autonomous vehicles, which is the latest innovation in the industry. The industry being worth billions of dollars, providing an innovation in such industry is a lifetime opportunity that should not be missed. The success of this innovation (autonomous vehicles) means billions in return for DAV Network.

Threats

Every great project possesses it own threats, which may affect it success. The threat to DAV Network is the possibility of potential competitors. The Blockchain is an open technology for any project, which leaves room for the imitation of any project by copycats.

DAV is at advantage of being the pacesetter in it industry, which means by the time imitators catches up, DAV would have established a brand that can never be outgunned in the market.

According to the above analysis, I believe DAV Network has the necessary factors to succeed.
