There are several blockchains out there and many more are been built with fascinating features which strives to outdo the other blockchains. To a great extent, the mighty decentralized world which blockchain and cryptocurrency faithful are so much enthusiastic about is at the moment disjointed.
A question which comes to mind is how to ensure mass adoption of blockchain technology with the too many blockchains breaking the space into several pieces. Beginners are bound to get confuse and lost. This coupled with the numerous numbers of tokens and decentralized applications that have been developed. It’s a daunting thing to think about.

What is Essentia?
Essentia is a protocol. Essentia is a personalized operating system which has been developed to achieve interoperability. In this article, I will be talking about INTEROPERABILITY and how the Essentia protocol can achieve that and pave the way for mass adoption of blockchain technology.
Interoperability is the ability for computers to handle applications designed or made from different entities and to interact with systems across several operating systems or networks.
When it comes to blockchain, Interoperability simply means the ability to communicate with and interact with several blockchains, dApps and decentralized services built on the various blockchains. An example is the operation of a service built on the NEO platform which normally could only run on that platform with its own native token with the ability to run unhindered on the Ethereum and all other known blockchains that exist. That is interoperability.
Next is how Essentia can ensure mass adoption as a tool. Essentia is built as a user friendly platform which gives users the ability to connect to several blockchains and decentralized applications and services. Interestingly, it is built with the mind of those who would wish to have a customized experience. Currently integrated are some blockchains and decentralized applications like EtherDelta, Omesigo etc.
With Essentia token you able to connect and interact with several services. What this means is that you are able to interact with several dapps without acquiring their native tokens. We know how much it cost in times of finance (effect of volatility), time etc.
You only need one token. The ESS token. By eliminating the numerous issues involved in acquiring tokens needed to interact and use the various services of blockchains and decentralized apps and services, Essentia has come to be the protocol which will engender mass adoption of cryptocurrency.

Essentia is a project i have recently researched extensively, the concept is top notch and this project has what it takes to not only be the privacy solution for people around the world, but also help companies stay on the right side of the law. Interesting project and a much needed one. Interoperability is very much needed at this space. I love their concept. The fact that several blockchain platforms can now communicate with themselves without much hassles is a sign that bold experiments that are leading to advancement of this blockchain technology is being piloted. Essentia should do well if what they have said will be followed to the letter. I'm only impressed by their MVP anyway.
