Former Alaskan Senator Johnny Ellis had an interesting flight on Monday; sparking the need for every plane to have a copy of Samuel L. Jackson's voice to be able to be played over the speakers for situations just like this. What the message might say I'll leave to your own imaginations. Senator Ellis's message on twitter though describes the situation pretty well.

That's what Patrica O' Grady paid since 1955 for a two bedroom apartment in Greenwich. O'Grady tragically was struck by a car while she was out for her daily walk back in March, she was 84 years old. O'Gradys' story is a great tale to warm your heart a little bit. CNN, for their many faults, does a good job on her story and gives Ms. O'Grady a warm send off. I really do highly recommend taking a moment and reading this story.

Taking over three years, 5,000 tonnes of steel, and a heck of a lot of gall to pitch to begin with; The Shandong Province recently debuted it's new fantastical attraction:
The wheel, 125 meters in diameter and 145 meters tall, is located in the city of Weifang. It has 36 compartments, each able to hold a maximum of 10 people. It takes about 30 minutes for the wheel to turn a complete circle.
