Curation Guidelines Update
We have previously elaborated our guidelines when selecting a post to be featured here. Due to the recent life updates the admins running the account have been experiencing, we needed to make some adjustments on our curation.
Changes Made:
Removed the 3 day post age limit.
2 Week cool down for a featured author removed.
Update on account activity
Removing the 3 day post age limit
Before, once a post reaches more than 3 days old, it has a less likely chance of being put up for feature. The drawback of keeping this guideline is not being able to upvote posts that were worth it because it was missed during curation hunts or slot competition.
Now, as long as your post has not reached payout, the post will be eligible for upvote. But less likely for 6 days old posts.
2 Week cool down for a featured author
Before, once an author was featured for the daily post, they would have to get another chance after 2 weeks to save some slots for other authors. Keeping this guideline is difficult especially when we got a pool of active users getting limited as the weeks run by. We see the same content creators doing quality posts but can’t upvote because of this 2 week cool down thing (except for those awesome caliber posts).
Really, the goal was to uplift undervalued or give some bit of confidence boost to Filipino content creators that post quality. When we say quality, it doesn’t mean it has to be professionally made. It means well thought out posts that authors placed some effort into building.
Update on this communal account’s activity
You may have noticed some gaps in daily posts. Well life priorities happened to people running this account. Daily posts are no longer feasible due to differences in availability of schedule. Not really a problem, we’ll still upvote Filipino authors that provide good content on the platform, just not as active as we used to be.
