You are the cause of the worlds problems.
You are the cause of the worlds problems but you dont realize it. By being a brainless fawning sheeple you are manipulated into delegating away your real power to create positive social policies. Everyday people buy into the idea that professional politicians are a source of real democracy. The myth of leadership and party politics being democratic is continually reinforced.
Society experiences democracy for about 5 minutes every four years when you delegate away your power to lobbyist influenced law makers. Once you vote you can only watch as laws, budgets and important policies are created without your consent. Only a mindless cuck would consider this real democracy.
The solution is for citizens to add a layer of direct democracy to our politics. Referendums and Initiatives have been used around the world with very positive results.
Real democracy is the will of the people. Unless society has a universally accepted direct democracy platform there will be no way for the electorate to express the will of the people. When this layer of direct democracy is applied to our current system then the representatives can be held accountable to vote in accordance with the will of their constituents.

I agree we need binding referendums available to the public but the business of governing takes more time and is too important to trust every decision with Mob Rule. But I respect your opinions and support open government.
