I like the idea of this being digital paper. Not requiring printing, but immutable and therefore having a similar use in that respect.

Sort:  

In the late 90's, say at MIT media lab, there was discussion of how digital is superior to paper: it's interactive. And you can have a million books on a single computer. It's better than paper, in this or that context. Very inexpensive books. Every discussion was hedged however. Digital does not replace paper. It complements paper. Because not as immutable. Well now we can have as immutable.
