Hydrogen car, which is the best solution?

One of the alternative solutions to reduce pollution is certainly the use of hydrogen that we remember is a transparent, light, odorless and colorless gas that could replace conventional fossil fuels and create a new model of sustainable mobility.

One of the potentially most promising sectors is the automotive sector and here we point out that among the most active we have the BMW, not new in the sector, seeing that it has been experimenting with hydrogen for more than 20 years and that it has entered the market, albeit in limited edition. the BMW Hydrogen 7, in fact a bivalent hybrid engine, as it can be powered either by petrol or hydrogen.
Here the main difference with other models powered by hydrogen powered cars lies in the fact that the Bmw Hydrogen 7 burns hydrogen, being in fact an internal combustion engine, while the other cars like those made by Daimler Chrysler, General Motors and Honda they use fuel cell technology that produces electricity to power an electric motor.

Therefore Bmw proposes the hydrogen solution to be used as an alternative to petrol, keeping the petrol engine as a basic idea.
The other manufacturers are instead focusing on fuel cells that use hydrogen and then run an electric motor.

The future technological development will tell us if the hydrogen as optimal solution is the one proposed by Bmw or the fierce competition.
