A very Hypocritical UN Human Rights Council

The UN Human Rights Council reeks of hypocrisy, and am not talking about its anti-Israel bias - the very substance of the council today is extremely shaky at best.
Among the 47 member nations that comprise the council are some of the biggest Human Rights abusers in the World. Yet, they somehow get a free pass on deciding which country is overstepping its bounds and recommending sanctions.
How in the World can nations like Afghanistan, Angola, Burundi, Cuba, Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iraq, Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Venezuela have the moral right to condemn nations over their records on human rights? According to the council this makes perfect sense.
I wish more right thinking countries will simply identify the body as a complete scam and leave, or better still, seek a dissolution of such a hypocritical league of nations. Of course it is also noteworthy that the council is not the only hypocritical arm in the body, the whole agency simply has no credibility with the way they've failed in their core mandates.
The activities of the UN is a sham at its best.
The same countries that condemn human right abuse are the most perpetuators of same.
My Nigeria government will be quick to condemn Israel,yet down here, it is indiscriminate arrests of perceived political enemies in the name of fighting corruption, open scale terrorism covered with the veneer of crises. The list is just endless.
