Be the change
Fight the fight
Dare to dream
Heal your land

The values we grew up with
Suddenly abstract in reality
Certain things didn't change
Certain wounds never healed

But blinded we were in dreams
Imaginations of a better World
Our actions made best
On improving our space

Our actions became examples
As we gathered faithfuls
Soon we became a legion
Deluded men now Heroes

    This was a brain exercise for me tonight. That is how poetry ought to be.

    The values we grew up with
    Suddenly abstract in reality
    Certain things didn't change
    Certain wounds never healed
