Intuition, an advantageous skill

The greatest human abilities lie in the mind, it is our main and best tool. Unlike other species we have low physical performance and many vulnerabilities, our only defense against threats is ingenuity.

The human mind has proved such a powerful tool that the brain continues to evolve to this day. In the current scenario, we will continue to exploit the capacities of our brains in the future of our existence, while at the same time we will become species more vulnerable to physical threats, because our main threats are accidents, and these are eventual situations for which no one is prepared, likewise most accidents are fatal, making it difficult to adapt evolutionarily to these threats.

Without a doubt our brain is a whole machine to process and store information, in fact, there is no supercomputer comparable to the capabilities of the human brain. But beyond the processing capacity that the brain may have, we have skills that can be progressively developed, all of which have proved vital to our survival, and are what make the mind such a powerful tool. There are many abilities, but on this occasion I want to emphasize the importance of intuition, this is the capacity for immediate understanding or perception, and as every ability is the result of experience and its implementation. Intuition is a fundamental skill that we use every day, thanks to it we can identify anything or situation and associate it to a previous knowledge situation, it is also useful to understand situations based on previous knowledge, all this immediately and without the need to use reason. Intuition and logic are very similar, but there is a key difference between them, which is that logic makes use of reason, and intuition is an innate ability that develops according to people's experiences and knowledge. In this way, a person can count on a lot of reasoning capacity, and at the same time have a low level of intuition.
