The advantage and power of Knowledge

"Knowledge is power", this is a very popular and quite accurate phrase. Humans are thinking beings, this is the most remarkable quality that differentiates us from animals. Thanks to the ability to think, we have been able to build step by step, generation after generation, the entire existing social system, and a great civilization. But these results are not the reflection of humanity's main desires, they are simply the consequence of immeasurable human growth and ambition.

From the existence of great civilizations, the population began to need more and more resources and solutions, thus giving way to the creation of all kinds of inventions, methods and alternatives that sought to meet the different needs of the population. In the meantime, people who realized their ideas by creating products to provide solutions for people took the opportunity to market their ideas and obtain many resources. In this way, the first forms of companies and entrepreneurs began to be formed.

In the past, any family could live without relying on commercialization or on the products of a third party, since they grew their own food, it was a civilization independent of the rest in that sense. However, the quality of life of these people was very low, and as the population grew exponentially, new demands emerged in people's daily lives. The commercialization of the products also took its place in the face of the great demand, resulting in the majority of the families having less and less time to attend to the production of food. In this sense, the families that were dedicated to the accomplishment of particular activities, manufacture of clothes, production of bread, meat, and food in general, emerged. Thus, the specialization of the people was given way, favoring more the trade model.

The different specializations and needs of people have given way to the existence of an advantageous position for people who have extensive knowledge of a certain aspect, and thanks to this knowledge they can obtain many benefits and overcome situations in which people who do not know this particular area of knowledge do not know. It is precisely for this reason that knowledge is power. The magnitude of the knowledge developed by humanity is so great that it is impossible to know everything, even so, the living conditions of each person are very different, therefore, you can and you should learn as much as possible about the things that influence your life, so you will have a greater degree of reasoning about why things are, and greater power in front of other people in different situations that arise.
