I agree with @soyrosa, I think it would be great if you applied - you seem to be very passionate about this place. But don't base either choice around that, because they're pretty important choices. Just do what feels right for you - if you can see yourself with that job, go for it, don't let it rely on some third party/element (whether the Steem Alliance take you or not) :)
