Wrong motive for joining Steemit
Most people who joined this platform are because the saw how much others are earning, they thought it was easy to earn in the platform by just posting, commenting and up voting other posts. After about a week without earning a dim, they become discouraged and leave the platform.
Steemit is not just for earning, you have to be hardworking, try to engage your audience and post quality posts, plagiarism is not allowed and you don't have to be discouraged if you don't earn as much as you expected, don't look at other people's earnings. You will get there as long as you are hardworking.
Steemit as much as you can but do not spam.
