Binge-watching Soul Land!
Lately I noticed that there has been an increasing amount of Chinese animes (Dong Hua's) being uploaded in the KissAnime website.
Now I'm not sure if other people are now fed up with Japanese Animes (or simply Anime) and want to watch something new, or the episodes the Chinese are making are actually much better than the Japanese.
And so I decided to watch one Chinese anime titled: 'Soul Land' and was honestly surprised as to how good the series was both in animation and the story.
I have only watched three Chinese anime series so far (including this series), and Soul Land is without a doubt the best among the three and possibly the best 3D-art I have ever seen.
Although the animation especially the character movements feels weird to watch, it still is much better compared to other 3d shows. It's like the art is very very good (If you look at the images above which are taken at only 360p and yet I don't mind them setting as my wallpaper) but the character movementss is too unnatural and uneasy to watch. Kinda like those 'Final Fantasy' movies. XD
One thing I hate though is that there are too many commercials, product placements and advertisements every episode.
For every 20 minute episode, 4 minutes is taken by advertisements (2min at mid commercial and another 2 min at end).
If we include the opening song, flashback, ending song and preview for the next episode, we are only talking about a 12-13 minutes long episode. XD
