Tips on how to keep your morning energy with you all through the day

The sun is high up , and days are getting long and lazy. With too much of hot climate in the city, It's getting really hard to do anything. All my focus is on getting something cool to drink. Even eating sound like a heavy task to do, unless it is some fresh fruits or sprouts. But then also, there are a lot of things that are needed to be done but a huge amount of laziness comes in between.

I have lost a lot of motivation to work these days. All I am doing is lying in my room under my air condition and doing nothing. But then, I felt guilty of letting thing go this way. So I decided to finally go off the laziness and do something. I google few tips for that and I went through some youtube videos that helped me get up and they even made me extra guilty for wasting so much of time doing nothing and even taking guilt for that.

So, I thought of sharing a few tips to get rid of the laziness and do something, and these tips actually worked well for me. they are all from my self realization and some research for self.

Exercise

The way we spend our whole , solely depends on how we start our morning or could say the first hour after waking up. Seeing the current trend, we all wake up, turn to our left or right to pick our phone and head straight to washroom and that's how next 30 minutes or half and hour goes . And we are still on the phone coming out from it. Being on phone makes us lethargic and take most of our morning time.

But if we avoid our phone for the initial hours of the morning and go for exercise , meditation, cycling or even some gardening thing, we surely gonna have a healthy day. Doing exercise leaves us with the feeling of some accomplishment which also keeps us charged and positive whole day.

So, starting from tomorrow, start your day with some smile and some exercise , keep that habit for atleast 21 days and see the difference yourself.

Get your day organised a night before

The another big obstacle that comes to us is not knowing what to do. After done with our basic morning chores, we spend a good clock time on thinking what we should for the moment. We have so much in our mind , all the time but we can hardly think of what we should do in the moment. And by the time we decide, we have lost our energy to some extent and we are already feeling lazy and low.

So, prepare a written list of what are the things that are needed to be done the next day, before going to sleep and also label them as important, most important and must ones. That way you'll know what you need to do first and you save a lot of time and the morning energy to yourself.

Stay at one or two things at a time

Our head is full of so many things that remains in our to do list. Even the things that we are in love with as a idea only, but will hardly consider to do practically. But still they occupy our mind and always comes to us when we think of what to do next. While we decide what to do, they also pop up in our mind and then we give our time in thinking of how to do those, wasting our time.

So while you right down the most important tasks and what to do next, you take the out of your list and can focus more on the most important ones. The funny thing is they still stays in your mind and you can always give it a go when you really feel like and focus on the important things meanwhile.

Keep talking and motivating yourself

Self talk is really one of the thing that turn to curse or blessing as you take it. It can keep you motivated and make you feel you are the best soul on this planet and can do anything you desire to do. Even make you do the things that you never thought you are capable of doing.
On the other hand, they can feel you low and less for yourself. Negative thoughts and self talks takes all of your energy and makes you do nothing, even things that you are capable of.

So , stay careful what you think of. Instead of saying " Oh, that is so much to do, how will I do that " tell yourself " wow ! So much of things to do that i am excited of " and that's how you that more efficiently.

So the crux is, it's all about starting your day on positive notes and keeping the morning energy all through the day. When we know we can do it, we can do it. Just remove the in between thoughts and keep the motivation.

A good breakfast is also a good morning motivation lol. In some places, like Italy and Spain, people go to bed thinking of next morning's breakfast and they almost always wake up feeling excited. I think this is true of Punjabis as well.

Yeah and that is actually a good idea. Anything that keeps you excited to wake you fresh and do your stuff is worth considering.
And talking about punjabi's- I think they are always charged up.:P

I would love to add that loving your loved ones and other people around you also excites you and motivates you to start your day positively and with utmost clarification!

Oh that's another fantastic point. Spending initial morning hours with your loved ones gives you a sense of worth and keeps you motivated all through the day.
