Scientist have produced maps showing how electrical activity maps showing how electrical activity in one part of the brain can cause a movement or other reaction. this mapping has been done during brain surgery as there are no sense organ in the brain it is possible to operate on a people who are fully conscious, without them feeling any pain. this enables doctors to know which part of the brain has been damaged after an accident.
