Blog 6-9-18

It has been a busy busy day and I am already tired from all the work I got done. Drove to my Granny's house and worked on her yard and then did my Dad's yard. I was able to get them done before the heat started to kick in. I will have to do it again next week, but it will be better next time. I had some nice breakfast tacos and a Starbucks drink for a treat. I came home and watered all the plants and now I am going to relax for the rest of the day. I hurt my thumb yesterday when I was aerating the dirt because I was not wearing any work gloves. So I burst this blister and now it's all healing over. It doesn't hurt too bad anymore, but it is still tender. I almost forgot! I met this cute cat when I got to Granny's house, she was sitting on the driveway in the back looking for mice. I said hello and she came up and was very friendly. She had a collar with a name, Ginger, and a phone number. I called the number to make sure she was not lost, even though it was quite early in the morning, the sun was just starting to rise. She contacted me later to tell me that Ginger is an outdoor cat and that she is free to do as she pleases. I was relieved since Ginger had been hanging out with us for about an hour, that she was hungry or needed help getting home. Instead, Ginger is just a really cool cat that likes to hang out with people. I enjoyed her company immensely. Here are some flowers from my garden.
