Quickies for Halloween- An Update

I have been writing a series of supernatural short stories just in time for Halloween. At the begining, I thought that I was going to write a mishmash of plots, subplots, and genres, but I have become fascinated with folkloric legends of spirits and phantoms from the netherworld. The stories always seem fragmented, almost incomplete, as if these souls and creatures are forever wandering between dimensions. One thing to keep in mind is that in some regions of Central and South America, these are not just legends but the ever living presence of a hostile spirit world beyond understanding.
