WHO would support a political doctrine, if the price of the 'success' of the doctrine was the deaths of one eighth of a countries population?
What sick mind would find that number as acceptable, to 'prove' a system works?
Who would look at these numbers, and even try to find an argument, to defend it as a good idea?
Who would argue that the destruction of populations on this scale in the name of a political ideology- is a good idea?
Who would argue that a 'failed socialist system' should be tried YET again , when all evidence points to massive population deaths of a nation, starvation, and terror?
The Germans population suffered less than half as many casualties during WW2.... than communist Russia inflicted on its own peoples...
Socialism + time = Communism.

Well Yugoslavia under communism was much better than what happened to the country under the NATO sponsored Oslo peace process.
As much as I hate communism there is no doubt in my mind that Yugoslavia was a good place to live. I base this on the yugos I knew in the early nineties.
Tito though a socialist dictator truly cared about his country.
No matter how evil an ideology is some people belonging to it will still maintain their morality.
Yugoslavia is an exception that in no way disproves the rule.

Socialism in the USA made it a good place to live for decades, arguably since 1940 ish - It doesn't make it sustainable as an economic system.
The baby boomers hit 'the purple patch' in all of human history for easy living - it doesn't make it sustainable as a system, and any baby boomers defending it, are only looking at it from there tiny patch of time..

but my whole point was that Tito (the Guy at the top) was beneficial to his country despite the socialism.
Just like Trujillo was a dictator but he protected the trees of the Dominican Republic which is flourishing especially compared with the other half of the island Haiti.
I am not disagreeing with that- but ultimately- if you are not changing away m afrosocialist system, you are not doing good for your country- long term..

In my personal life in America, I find supporters of socialism are usually people who are always playing the life-long VICTIM, they are usually whinny FREELOADERS always looking for FREE STUFF & someone to FREELOAD off of. (AKA half my relatives) Then at the same time these lazy pricks are also very ENVIOUS & fantasize about DESTROYING anyone around them who they perceive as SUCCESSFUL. (AKA anyone who works & tries to manage their life well)
So yes In my personal experience they're ALL MENTAL

all of the former communist countries kept socialist system + some of the European countries . they survived economical crash and now they are getting back in the game . customers are all over the world
Socialist economies typically have a life cycle of approx. 100 years or less. They may very well 'do good' for a few decades, but it eventually creates disparity.
