Democratic Socialism Vs Socialism

The entire idea that somehow just because you add the word "democratic" in front of socialism, it now becomes something completely different is asinine.

Try doing that with Fascism or Nazism, it still exactly the same rabid animal at the end of the day. Somehow people love the idea of democracy, it's what the people want, but the problem with that all that basically means is mob rule, and that's why I am lucky enough, and only for the time being, to live in a constitutional republic like America. The absolute worst part of socialism for me is the complete lack of critical thought, and if you use even the smallest amount of brain power the think it through, it's a fantasy of like Santa Clause bringing everyone a gift.

Just take a look at Bernie Sanders or his new Sith apprentice Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, their talking points are always the exact same. Everything is a right, from healthcare to education and don't forget about the living wage. The problem is that these things are commodities not rights. You are not entailed to the labor of others, that is slavery. Now correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that we want people to be free and not slaves. When you just add more shit to government wish list ,who do you think pays for it? I'll tell you, your children and their children, this it what they never really want known, and if you don't care about then please don't tell me how you care about the environment. and leaving a beautiful planet to your children one day.

History has taught us time and time again that this kind of system never works, there is an estimated between 100 million to 160 million live lost due to this kind of government system, but please tell me again how Hitler was worse than this?

Thought I would leave you some great words from Ayn Rand, this is someone who paid attention to what governments were doing to force control over the masses only to have it come crashing down. The millions of lives lost all in the name of "for the people" it never was and it never will be. Heed the words of those spoke out about these things.
