Welcome to The T-Rex Beach

It was 9 in the morning when I departed from Serangan Harbour in Bali toward the island of Nusa Penida. Being swayed by the waves as the speed boat cruised to the island was not my idea to have fun. I got sea sick. Now you all know one of my weaknessess.

At around 10, the boat reach the shore in the little island. I barely could collect myself. My head was still spinning. But I got into the car with the local as the driver and hit the road.

The first half hour drive was a fine and smooth road. But then it got narrower and bumpier. The drive was like a massage for me for the last half an hour.

We reached the T-Rex beach an hour later. And wow, such a beautiful view! I forgot all my misery when I saw the T-Rex. Felt like I was in the Jurassic Park movie.

You could actually walked to to the beach by descending on the cliff down. There was a stair from where I was to get down to the beach. I couldnot estimate how many stairs going down, probably 1000 stairs. I did not go down, because there were other places to visit that the time would not be enough. Well, and the climbing up the stairs was a bit discouraging.

So here I was. Taking a selfie and enjoying the view with other tourists.
