The more things change, the more they stay the same. The same things that impress me off-line, impress me on-line. The good, the bad and the ugly of humanity are immune to technological modification.
We are what we are.
Just as in the real world, we rally to those we respect and defend agaisnt those we do not. While that may sound a bit negative, I actually find something quite comforting in it: The latter has not managed to negate the former and as long as one good man will stand for another, the world will go on.
