the constitution is suspended, yep, it is suspended. It has been since that day President Roosevelt issued the national emergency and it has continued on by continuing resolution ever since then.

This is fascinating stuff sultnpapper. I did not know that about the american constitution. I'm not really very politically savvy, and am a brit anyway so can just about keep up with what our idiot government get up to, but it's interesting to hear different stories/views about politics all around the world. It's one of the great things about steemit, gaining that insight of someone else perspective on things.
