Business Video: Difference between Sub-titles & Closed Captions

in #blog6 years ago

Have you ever wonder what is the difference between Sub-titles & Closed Captions?

There is a big difference:

  1. Subtitles - Include only whatever is spoken
  2. Closed Captions - Include everything, music, applause, and all background noises

When you do Closed Captions, you need to learn how to include all background noises even when there is no one speaking.

For eg. When there is laughter, you need to add in [laughter] bracketed.

All TRUE Closed captions put in everything.

This is great for those who are deaf and need to know everything that is going on.
